General Rules
Amino Guidelines
All members must follow Amino’s platform rules in addition to our community rules. Breaking these can lead to removal from KPDH Amino and possible action from Team Amino. For the complete details, refer to Amino’s Guidelines.
Tone Tags
Tone tags are short indicators added to the end of a sentence (e.g., “/j” for joking, “/srs” for serious) that help convey emotional intent in text. Because written communication lacks tone of voice and facial expression, these tags are an accessibility tool that can prevent misunderstandings, especially when humor, sarcasm, or subtlety is involved. While tone tags are not required in this community, they are encouraged in situations where your meaning might be misread. KPDH is home to members of different ages, cultures, and neurotypes, including those with autism, ADHD, and anxiety disorders, for whom tone clarity can be especially helpful. Taking the extra second to add a tone tag shows consideration and helps foster mutual understanding.Common examples include:
/j = joking
/srs = serious
/lh = lighthearted
/gen = genuine
/nm = not mad
/pos = positive
/neg = negative
Harassment & Cyberbullying
We are committed to keeping this community safe and inclusive for all members. Harassment can take many forms, including but not limited to: name-calling, targeted exclusion, spreading rumors, intimidation, passive-aggressive comments, sending unwanted messages, or doxxing (sharing someone’s private information without consent). This also applies to behavior that occurs outside of Amino but carries over into the community. If you are being harassed, the safest approach is to avoid responding to the person. Instead, document the behavior with screenshots and contact a staff member so it can be addressed. All action is taken based on proof, and false accusations will also be treated as a violation. Misusing harassment claims to target someone can cause just as much harm and will not be tolerated.
Privacy
Protecting personal information is essential for everyone’s safety. Do not share your full name, address, school, phone number, or identifiable images of yourself or others. Posting someone’s personal information without permission, regardless of intent, is considered doxxing and will result in an immediate ban.
Advertising
Promotion of other communities, platforms, accounts, or products is only allowed with direct staff approval. This includes other Aminos, Discord servers, YouTube channels, social media accounts, businesses, or paid services. Unsolicited advertising in public chats, blogs, comments, or private messages is not permitted and will be removed.
